ROPETEX S49 is a wire rope for general purposes like hanging signs, control and signaling devices, but not for lifting. It's most used in small diameters up to 6 mm. ROPETEX S49 is equipped with a Steel Core (WSC).

ROPETEX S42 is the same rope but has a Fibre Core (FC) and is therefore more flexible.

  • Rope construction: 6x7-WSC (7x7)
  • Marking: According to standard
  • Temperature range: -40°C up to +200°C, for operating temperatures between 100°C and 200°C reduce MBF by minus 10 %.
