ROPETEX S16 (og ROPETEX S65) stålwirer er de mest anvendte type stålwirer i området fra 8 til 38 mm. Begge typer kan bruges til en række forskellige applikationer.
Fås som S16 med fiberhjerte (FC) eller som S65 med Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC). S16 er mere fleksibel, men har en lavere brudstyrke.
S65 er mindre fleksibel, men har en højere styrke og er mere formstabil, især når den bruges på skiver eller tromler.
